Ariston P. Awitan, MD

Dr. Awitan received his doctorate of medicine from the College of medicine, University of the Philippines in Manila Philippines. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the Philippine General Hospital in Manila. An additional residency in Orthopedic Surgery was completed at the Martland Hospital, New Jersey College of Medicine in Newark, New Jersey.

Dr Awitan is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and an Elected Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been in private practice in the field of Orthopedic Surgery in Pasadena, Texas until his retirement in December of 2004.

He is a member of the American medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Houston Orthopedic Society, the Texas Orthopedic Association and the Association of Philippine Physicians of America and the Philippine Medical Alumni Society of America.
